Collect the Sample:

- Obtain a urine sample from the donor using a clean, *disposable collection cup. For optimal results, use a cup with an integrated temperature strip.
- If the collection cup includes a temperature strip, verify that the urine is within the correct temperature range, typically between 90-100°F (32-38°C). This step helps confirm sample authenticity.
- Remove the MD 12 panel drug test card from its packaging, handling it carefully to avoid contamination.
- Take off the cap at the bottom of the test card to reveal the test strips.
- Dip the test strips into the urine sample carefully, without exceeding the arrow markers on the test card. Submerging past the arrows may flood the test and invalidate the results.

Observe the Reaction Time:
-
Allow the test card to sit for three to five minutes as the strips react with the sample. Ensure the card remains upright to avoid interfering with the test process.
Interpret the Results:
- Wait for the results and read them within 5 minutes, ensuring not to exceed this time frame.
- Look for lines in the Control (C) area. A line in this area confirms that the test is working correctly. Next, check the Test ( T) area for each drug panel. The presence or absence of lines will indicate a negative or positive result, as outlined in the instruction guide provided with the kit.

Dispose Safely:
- Once testing is complete, dispose of the test card and collection cup according to local health and safety regulations. Avoid touching the test area, as it may contain traces of the substances detected.
